We’re Valeria and Federico. We moved from Milan to the Gulf of Poets, following the sea, the wind and the wish for a different rhythm.
Il Collina is our home and a project that grows every day. We love sharing our favourite places, helping you choose a walking trail or suggesting somewhere to spend an evening.
And we’re just as happy to give you the time and space to enjoy your holiday in your own way.
VALERIA
After 25 years as a building engineer in Milan, I fell in love with the Gulf of Poets while studying for my boating licence. I love yoga, hiking, skiing and painting. Il Collina is where I chose to make room for all of that.
FEDERICO
I’m an art director, creative and photographer. Born in Milan, with a chapter in Australia, I followed my love of the sea and sailing here. Between projects you’ll find me tending the olive trees in the garden, or aboard a sailing boat.
PART OF THE FAMILY
A curious black cat and a tabby with a strong personality. They share our home, each with their own habits. We love animals: yours are welcome too, at no extra charge.
