Between the Gulf and the hillside

By air
Pisa Galileo Galilei Airport is a convenient option. The PisaMover connects the terminal to Pisa Centrale, where you can catch a train to La Spezia Centrale. By car, allow roughly an hour from the airport, depending on traffic.
By car or motorbike
The La Spezia motorway exit is about 15 minutes away, depending on traffic. There is room for up to three cars just outside the gate, on the right. Cars and motorbikes do not enter the property beyond the gate.
By train
La Spezia Centrale station is about 3 km away. For the uphill final stretch with luggage, a taxi from outside the station is the easiest choice.
By bus and boat
There is a bus stop approximately 300 metres away along the sloping road. Local routes connect La Spezia with the Gulf’s villages and Porto Venere; boats to the Cinque Terre also depart from town. Check stops and timetables before setting off, as services change with the season.
